The first of the double header of big highlander events at Plenty of Games last weekend, 24 teams came together to battle it out for a first prize of $750, playing Team Unified 7 Point Highlander. Standard teams (best of 3s, with the overall match being first team to win 2 of their matches) tournament structure, but all pointed cards must be unique within a team. This was an incredibly fun event for all involved, and an awesome tournament, with a total of 72 players coming in to play some highlander. Big thanks to Isaac and the Plenty of Games team for putting on another great event.
At the end of the event local team “Me and Michael (and Michael)” came away with a hard fought victory over the Canberra representatives, in a battle of two cities.
